Welcome
Greetings from "a growing church serving a mighty God." We're so glad you took the time to visit our website.
At Community Baptist, our theme is, "God loves you right where you are and so do we through the love of Christ." We do this in three ways: 1. By having loving hearts. Our people are a loving and welcoming body of believers. You will feel at home when you visit with us. 2. By loving people. When you walk through our doors, you should experience a love for you that Christ has given us for others. 3. By loving souls. We at Community Baptist are concerned where you will spend eternity. If you do not know what is involved in being prepared to meet Jesus, we would love to take the time to show you.

So, if you are ever in the Barry County/Hastings, MI area, we would love for you to stop in and visit us. Once again thanks for visiting our website and we hope to have you visit in the near future.
Sincerely,
Pastor Tod Shook & the congregation at Community Baptist Church

Words to Think About
“I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.”

This Weeks Sermon
This weeks sermon on March 29 was a Palm Sunday Dramatization entitled "Live From Jerusalem 2026" and is in 4 parts in the "Media Section. The first is "Live From Jerusalem 2026_A", followed by part 3, then part 4 & part 5. We tried to record the whole service, but our camcorder failed and shut off about 26 minutes into the service, nearly to the end of News Break part 3. One of our men recorded just the characters portrayed and gave them to me so I could put them on this website. I put 3, 4, & 5 on so you could see all of part 3, so, bear with me if you have to see most of part 3 again. Our media upload area only allows 2 parts to be submitted at a time, so there is 2 medias (the second marked "continued" for parts 4 & 5) We hope you enjoy it. I've provided the Worship order for you to view.
The video that Pastor Tod did at our Christmas Eve service on 12-24-23 is still online here. It is him in costume as a shepherd and talks about the angels coming to the shepherds on the night of Christ's birth. It is entitled: "The Night the Angels Came: a Dramatization." You will enjoy it.
